Aqueous Pigment - Black
Aqueous pigment is often used in the flocking process. It is added to an Aqueous Adhesive which is then applied to the surface before the flock fibres are applied. It helps to match the colour of the flock with the flocking surface to produce a seamless finish. For example, when flocking dark colour fibres onto a light colour surface, a dark colour pigment is usually added to the adhesive to pre-colours the surface and provide a more uniform finish.
Aqueous pigment is environmentally friendly and does not contain the harmful solvents that are found in some dyeing processes.
