Premium High Performance Acrylic Adhesive for flocking applications.

DCA1244 Acrylic is a high performance aqueous dispersion of acrylic co-polymer that has premium self-crosslinking qualities making it perfect for 3D printed polymers and. It is a water based product that air dries to touch in 10 minutes and completely within 24 hours. It gives a versatile, non-brittle and durable finish that is highly water-resistant, flexible and suitable for use in areas of high humidity.

There are various ways to apply this adhesive and the following methods can be used (although some will be more successful after the viscosity of the adhesive has been reduced):


•    Paint Brush
•    Paint Roller
•    Spray Gun
•    Screen printing*


The adhesive must not be applied to any part of the substrate that does not require flocking. Those areas should be covered with a mask or sealed off with masking tape.

*If this is applied by screen printing, ensure that the screen is clean immediately after use.

Adhesive should cover at least 10% of flock fibre length.
The adhesive must be viscose enough to support the flock fibres during the cure.
